This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

FUTURE SOFTWARE 1. Commercial A full scale conversion of Dr. B.S Nicholls (of Liverpool John Moores University) Computer Aided Learning packages will be undertaken in the summer of 1998 using WimpBasic. These will be commercial and sold via Barry at John Moores. For Clares, I may be doing a converter for Excel 5 to Schema2. Confirmation from Clares is pending (as are the file construction data sets!). 2. Shareware A version of the Converter+ package will be available for September 1997. With luck it will be on the AU September cover disk. The program will contain all sorts of conversion data as well as NMR and IR correlation tables. The tables will not be available without registration (code protected). I anticipate the registration to be about a fiver. 3. PD I will be writing an audio database program soon (based on my popular BBC B one - Audio Indexer3). Coding will start in a few weeks with a release date of September 1997. Audio Indexer3 (BBC) was innovative in that it had a Wimp system, coded in BASIC and running in under 3K. The program could save files in memory of about 16k (not bad in mode7 - remember, it only had 31k at most) and also included a rather sneeky program protector. 4. Clip Art As it stands, I have about 16Mb of clipart (draw format) which I will happily send to anyone with the webspace to put it onto. A list will be on my Cybercity website of all the file directories (inc. directory description). 5. Inform adventures I'm nearly done with a Dr. Who adventure which will be compiled in the next few weeks. It will be then up for alpha testing. An announcement will be made. 6. Anything else?
