This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

���� ������������ P ���������������� N���l ���� System & ^ The full version of BookMaker is supported by an extensive library of resources. These cover a range of topics. To accommodate the demonstration copy onto a single disc, both the software and resources have been scaled down whilst still giving a feel for the overall functionality. We hope you enjoy this foretaste of what is to come!
Features available in the FULL version of BookMaker include:
- FONTS including changing type, size and colour.
- GROUPING TEXT objects together to allow text to flow from one
to another.
- DRAWFILES can be displayed and manipulated in the same way as
sprites.
- SAVING of books, pages, sprites, drawfiles and text.
- PRINTING either single pages or the whole book.
- NOTEPAD allowing easy access to a context specific vocabulary.
Words/phrases from the vocabulary can be inserted into the
text by a single click.
The notepad contents can be changed, loaded and saved.
- FULL TEXT EDITING including keyboard shortcuts and caret
positioning with the mouse.
- PASSWORD protection for reconfiguration.
