This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

These are some 'goodies' to go with Automine...
Automine's graphics are compressed to save disc space. If you wish to
alter them, you'll need to decompress them. That's where these goodies
come in.
The sprites are supplied compressed using Huffman encoding, but Automine
will happily load uncompress sprites, and sprites compressed using Squash.
The main reason that Huffman encoding is used is that the Squash module is
only available in RISC OS 3 and later. Also, Squashed spritefiles require
much more memory to load than Huffman encoded files.
NB:
The (c) terms forbid the distribution of modified copies of
Automine. This means that you must not give anyone of copy
of Automine in any other state than the state it was in when
initially released. ie. with the original, unmodified,
Huffman encoded sprites.
Please read the (c) notice below for other restrictions.

These are two (simple) Obey files that use the 'huff' program to
compress the Automine graphics. They expect to be in the same
directory as the 'huff' program.

This is a simple huffman encoding program. See huff/txt for
