This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

((F))0--------------------------------------------------------------------- CEELECTRON USER GROUP --------------------------------------------------------------------- CEGus Donnachaidh CE25, Bertie Road CESouthsea CEHampshire CEPO4 8JX CETel. 0705 781168 --------------------------------------------------------------------- Mr. M Ford Dear Mr. Ford, Thankyou for your disk. The programs are fascinating. I am unfortunatly unable to include any in EUG17 because the DFS version can only have 62 file in total. As regards your adaptation of the program from Acorn Computing. As you know I am insistant on obeying the copywrite laws as they stand for obvious reasons. It seems unlikely however that Acorn Computing will want to publish an Electron version of any of their programs. If you have done quite a lot of work on this program and it is sufficiently distinctive from the original and can only work on an Electron in its present form then we may be able to publish it with full credit being given to Acorn Computing for the original on which you version is based. This is not hypocracy. The copywrite laws are quite straight forward as they stand but a lot of imagination needs to be applied. If you think about it almost all programs are in some way or other based upon previously written programs and the interpretation of the copywrite laws which I am applying is that a program must be sufficiently different fron any previous program to make it distinct. I am looking forward to seeing your program. Yours faithfully, 'Gus Donnachaidh.
