This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

Notes for using Netplex with the ANT Internet Suite

The 'localhost' URLs described in the documentation for Netplex will fail to
work on the ANT Internet Suite. This is because the ANT Suite is not
supplied with a loopback driver configured as standard. This is neccessary
to allow the computer to contact itself to use the server.
To configure the loopback driver you should carry out the following steps :
1. Start the ANT Suite up, and open it's Apps window.
2. Launch the Configuration app.
3. Click on the 'LAN (Local Area Network)' option button. The
'LAN setup' icon below will become un-shaded and the LAN
setup window will open.
4. Click on the Driver pop-up menu button and choose 'Loopback'
from the list.
5. Close the LAN window.
6. Choose 'Save' from the configuration window.
When you next start the ANT Suite up, it will have the loopback interface
configured, enabling you to access your own machine as 'http://localhost/'.
