apps1/Network/Bootnet/!BootNet/!Help
This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

File contents
!BootNet -------- !BootNet enables AUN software modules to be soft-loaded onto an AUN client station. This is necessary when the client station is fitted with a network interface card which is NOT equipped with an AUN client ROM. For example, !BootNet will always be needed to set up a client station connected to an Econet network, as the Econet hardware module cannot carry an AUN client ROM. You will also need to run !Bootnet if you have run !Internet, as you do when you run !MailServ. In this case !Bootnet ensures the NetI module is loaded to enable communication with Level 4 systems. You may also need to alter the file !Bootnet.Files.AddMaps There are some notes in the file to help you.
