Dear Gus, Congratulations on taking over the reigns of the Electron User Group. You still have a long way to go to catch me up, I'm 52 next birthday, but, I must stress still a boy at heart. I have owned an Electron ever since it came out and still use it every day for word processing and communications. I have never actually been told what the yearly subscription rate is but if you would let me know I would gladly subscribe. Anychance in the future of printing the 'phone numbers of GOOD Bulletin Boards? All the best for now, Roy Parry. THANKS ROY. I DON'T KNOW IF I TOLD THIS STORY BEFORE. WHEN I WAS 30 I WAS LIVING IN A NURSES HOME. I WAS A NURSE FOR ABOUT 10 YEARS BETWEEN BEING AN ELECTRICIAN AND BEING AN ELECTRICIAN. ANYWAY MY 30th BIRTHDAY. I HADN'T TOLD ANYONE BECAUSE BEING THE TYPE OF PLACE THAT NURSES HOMES ARE I DIDN'T WANT TO MAKE MYSELF THE CENTRE OF ATTENTION. IN THE EVENING I WENT TO A FRIEND'S ROOM. HE WAS A BIG CHAP, ONE OF THOSE WHO THOUGHT A LOT ABOUT HIMSELF. AFTER A WHILE I MENTIONED THAT IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY. HE DREW ON HIS CIGARETTE; MOST NURSES SMOKE YOU KNOW; AND SAID "YOU DON'T LOOK 30". I FELT QUITE GOOD AT THAT. HE TOOK ANOTHER DRAW ON HIS CIGARETTE AND ADDED "YOU DON'T EVEN ACT 30". YEARLY SUBSCRIPTIONS. I HAVE HAD SEVEAL ENQUIRIES ABOUT THIS AND I THINK IT IS A GOOD IDEA, NOT JUST TO SIMPLIFY ADMIN' BUT HELP WITH PLANNING. I WILL BE ANNOUNCING DETAILS OF THIS IN THE DECEMBER ISSUE.
