This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

WARNING: ******* This software includes Sergio Monesi's module 'nuke', which only works on E-format discs. It will *not* work on the new version of FileCore that Acorn will supply with the Phoebe 2100. You should *not* attempt to run this software on the Phoebe because it may actually corrupt a new-format disc. It is expected that this problem will be fixed in a future release. ==================== This software was developed with !SparkFS 1.33. A few users have reported that it does not work properly with version 1.28. At least in the case of version 1.28, the problems can be avoided by making the following simple changes in the program: � In the third line of the file !PGPlock.PGPlockDir.!Lock.!Run, change "SparkFSCreate 4" to "SparkFSCreate 1". � In the file !PGPlock.PGPlockDir.!Unlock.!Run, change all occurrences of "Crypt/zip" to "Crypt/arc". If you still get error messages, try increasing the minimum memory in the Choices menu of !SparkFS. Bear in mind that PGP also requires a reasonable amount of free working memory. ====================
