This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

This option allows you to save your picture onto the disk or to load a
picture you have already saved.
At the top of the 'Files' screen is a green rectangle with "SpacePaint
File" beneath it. If you click on the green rectangle it will change
to red with "Sprite File" beneath it. Change to "Sprite File" if you want
to save (or load) as a sprite file.
(Sprite files can be more easily printed if you have the appropriate
software - printer driver. They can also be loaded into "Paint".) Note,
however, that a 'Sprite File' uses up about 160K of disk space while a
(compressed) 'SpacePaint File' may use as little as 15K of disk space.
If you cannot save because the disk is full you will need to delete an
