This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

BBC font editor
===============
Font files (FF7) can be loaded by dragging them onto the !Font8x8 icon on
the icon bar. Clicking on the !Font8x8 icon will produce a window,showing
all the characters.Clicking on a character within this window will cause
another window to appear,with a magnified version of the chosen character in
it. Clicking with select in this window will set a pixel,adjust will unset
it.
Menu options
============
The main menu can be brought up by pressing menu on the !Font8x8 icon.
Save : This allows font files to be saved,in the usual manner.
128-255 : If this option is ticked,when a font file is saved,characters 128-
255 are saved,otherwise they are not.If the option is not ticked,
the characters in the character window above 127 will appear red,
this shows they will not be saved.
Reset : This resets the character set to the default one.
