This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

This is the "Demo" example game described in the
Introductory Guide. It has some of the enhancements
described in "SOME OTHER THINGS TO TRY" but it is really
intended as a launch pad to enable you to use to explore
the many features of ALPS.
To load "Demo":
hold down [SHIFT] and double-click the !Demo icon.
Double-click the 'Alps' file icon called "Demo".
If ALPS is not already loaded this will load it and then
load in the "Demo" game. To run the game click [MENU]
over the 'listing' icon in the ALPS Editors window and
