Welcome to *** COLLISIONS 2000 *** the latest game from the boys at ARM Research!
The main game code and music were created by RICHARD SHARP with Graphix by DAN CLARKE. Well, this is RICHARD typing here and I've got so much to say that I really don't know where to start....

Right, you have now been reading this scroll text for quite a while and by now it should have started to screw your eyes up, due to its small size. Dan refused to draw fancy, big letters and I refused to scroll them!
If you look away from the monitor it looks like the scrolltext is still and the room is scrolling.
If you would like a break then please have a game of COLLISIONS 2000 and when you return to the main menu the scroll text will restart where you left it.

There, that wasn't too painless, was it. I will now proceed to tell you a little of the struggle, heartbreak and dare I say it, yes, GENIUS involved in creating this mega-superfast, VSYNC crunching, mind-bogglingly incredible masterpiece:
During the course of writing the game, we used: 50 blank discs, 2000 sheets of paper, 12 different copies of !Paint (the first 10 just couldn't take the pace!), 1 guitar, 2 pianos (stolen by Robert Newell inc.), 1 sofa-bed, 4 PRMs (Yes, someone, somewhere actually owned these before Newell stole them for us),
22 BMW car badges (Newell again), 1100 Marlboro lights, 508 cans of Guiness, Tennents Pilsner and 75 bottles of Newky Brown Ale, 2 Nuclear reactors (Newell again), 6 parties (guess who?),
1 baseball bat (sisters, who needs 'em), 2 High Schools, Acorn (well they use everybody else), 65 copies of Chuckie Egg and 1 BBC B (WHO LAUGHED?), 3 Commodores (well you've got to use something when you run out of toilet paper), and last but not least tapes by:
Ride, Blur, the Stone Roses, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Hendrix, Cream, the High, the Pale Saints, Therapy, U2, assorted Rave, House (Richy Rich), Hip-Hop and anything else with a bass-line so goddamn funky you just GOT to get on down.
