This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

!SlideShow
SlideShow is a handy little program which allows you to view any
number of sprite files one after the other, with a specified time
in between pictures.
When changing from one picture to the next, there are various
different effects that !SlideShow will use.
Loading !SlideShow
------------------
To load SlideShow, simply double click on the !Slideshow icon
within the directory viewer in the normal RISC OS manner.
SlideShow will then install itself on the iconbar.
Viewing Pictures using SlideShow
--------------------------------
Simply drag all the pictures you wish to view to the SlideShow
icon on the icon bar. Multiple selections may also be dragged to
the icon.
Alternatively, if you wish to view all the pictures within a
specific directory, drag the directory to the icon on the icon
bar.
The Picture list
----------------
When you have dragged some pictures to the icon, a window will
open which will contain a list of all the pictures dragged in
so far.
Adding more pictures to the list
--------------------------------
You can add more pictures to this list by dragging them to the
picture list window, or alternativey, to the icon on the iconbar.
Removing Pictures from the picture list
---------------------------------------
To remove a picture from the picture list, click on it's name
with the ADJUST mouse button.
Viewing Individual pictures
---------------------------
Clicking on a the name of a picture in the picture list with
SELCT will display it. Clicking the mouse button, or pressing
a key will return you to the desktop.
Viewing Lots of pictures
------------------------
To view more than one picture, either click on the icon 'View'
in the picture list window, or select the 'View' option from
the menu on the iconbar.
SlideShow will then cycle through all of the pictures in the
picture list, displaying each for the number of seconds shown
in the 'Delay period' icon.
Holding down ESCAPE will return you to the desktop while the
slideshow is in operation.
