!ArcFSInfo/!Help
This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

!Help file for ArcFSInfo version 0.10 by M.Smith 22nd June 1992 This is the first version of ArcFSInfo, a support application for ArcFS 2. It gives full information on archives and archived objects, including full and compressed sizes and a ratio of the compressed size as a percentage of the full size. To get information on an archive or archived object (or a selection either), simply drag the object(s) to the ArcFSInfo icon. It contains a EnsArcFS2 utility, which will check for the presence of ArcFS 2, and execute the following command if it is not present. This is the ONLY file that may be taken out of the application and used separately. This version of ArcFSInfo is not P.D., but may be distributed subject to the conditions in the 'Licence' file. ***************************************************************************** All comments and suggestions for future improvement are welcome but please note that I cannot reply to letters without A STAMPED, ADDRESSED ENVELOPE. The address is: Mr. M. Smith Pen-y-dre, Riverside Ave., Broxbourne, Herts., EN10 6RD. An address at which I can be reached more quickly between October and April will be circulated as soon as I know it! I would also, of course welcome details of any bugs discovered so that I can correct them. My JANET email address is: ee91mds2@brunel.ac.uk I can be contacted by this method Oct-Mar 1992/93, 1993/94 and Oct-Jun 1994/95. (Otherwise you will just get an automatic reply to say I'm not there, but my mail will be read when I get back.) 1991, 1992 Mark Smith
