Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

REFORMATTING
Because Sibelius can reformat your score
instantly, you can adjust the page dimensions
even when you have finished transcribing all
the music. This means you can try printing a
score on different sizes or shapes of paper,
or with different stave-sizes, to see which
looks best. This also affects the amount of
music per page and the number of pages in the
score. Consequently, you can also make the
score fit onto any number of pages you want.
CHANGING DIMENSIONS
� Choose Score�Dimensions... to pop up the
page dimensions window
� You can then adjust the page size, page
shape and stave size, as detailed below. All
dimensions are in millimetres.
� Click on OK. The score will be instantly
reformatted with the new dimensions.
PAGE SIZES
Either:
� Type the new width and height directly into
the two boxes at the top left of the window
Or:
� Choose an A4 or A3 button.
MARGINS
The top, bottom, left and right margin sizes
are in the boxes at the top right. Music can
go right up to the margins, but not outside.
If you are transcribing music examples or
anything else which has very short systems,
set a normal page width and a large right
margin to allow lots of white space on the
right of the paper, rather than using a very
narrow page.
STAVE SIZES
The stave size, specified at the bottom left
of the window, is the distance from the centre
of the top line to the centre of the bottom
line. Everything in a score is proportional to
the stave size - notes, clefs, text etc.
Because of this, you can make a score fit into
a certain number of pages by adjusting the
stave size.
The Rastral stave size buttons (0 to 8)
produce standard sizes used by some music
engravers. The default stave size is number 4
(6.7 mm).
