This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

ArcWeb Helpers Directory ======================== This directory contains the helper applications for ArcWeb that you want to be loaded whenever ArcWeb is loaded. When ArcWeb is initialising itself, it scans this directory for all objects which are application directories (eg. !FilerURLs) but not this ReadMe file, and starts them (with Wimp_StartTask). To make another helper (or indeed any application) start at the same time as ArcWeb, copy it into the Helpers directory. -- Stewart Brodie 21 November 1995
