This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

In this directory you will find the following files:- !Golfscore - Impression document Broadbttm9 - Data file for course Holes - Directory containing the data for the holes ReadMe - What you are reading now !Golfscore This is an !Impression document containing an A5 document of a golf score-card. This can be used for the many golf games, if you wanted to record a particularly splendid score. I suppose it could even be used on a REAL golf course. Feel free to modify it to your own purpose. It comes set up to print 2 copies on 1 sheet of A4 and should therefore print out OK on 99.999 % of all Archie printers. Broadbttm9 and the Holes directory This bundle of files contains a 9 hole golf course for use with Superior Golf. To use, first copy the !Courses application from the Superior Golf disc to a disc with approx. 400K free. Now open up a directory viewer for this application (press shift and double click left mouse button). Copy all the files from the directory 'Holes' on this disc, to the directory 'Holes4' in the application !Courses. Finally, copy the file Broadbttm9 from this disc to the Courses directory in the application. When you want to use the new course, make sure your Archie has 'seen' the disc with the new course on BEFORE you put the Superior Golf disc in the drive. For all you experienced users out there it works identically to the !System folder. The game will prompt you when to change discs. Please enjoy the new course. I hope it inspires people to design their own and release them into the public domain. The software detailed above is (c) Tony Walker 1991 but may be treated as public domain and copied freely as long as this ReadMe file is included.
