This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

Do note, however, that the decompression application provided on this disc is read-only, so those applications which need to write to disc will not work unless first decompressed, as described below. Please note that Process is Shareware, so if you use this application regularly, please read and follow the licence instructions. How to find instructions for the applications --------------------------------------------- All of the applications have help files inside them. To access a help file, load Edit and click Menu over the application icon in the directory window. Move the pointer over the 'App.' submenu and choose 'Help'. These help files give information on the application, but due to the restrictions on public domain software we have not altered them in any way. How to decompress the applications ---------------------------------- The applications on this disc are compressed using ArcFS 2 from Software 42. To decompress any application onto another disc, do the following: 1. Double-click on the ArcFS application on this disc. 2. Double-click on the archive you which to decompress: a directory window will open containing the application. 3. Open up a directory to which you can save the decompressed application: if you have a floppy-only system, it might be convenient to use the Ram disc. 4. Drag the application to the disc: it can be run from here by double-clicking on its icon.
