MANUAL FOR !AMXConvrt (Application)
This file describes the program AMXConvert which translates AMX clipart files
into Risc OS two colour sprites.The program requires Risc OS version 3.10 or
better.
The manual and software are (C)1997 SPROW
INSTRUCTIONS-
Whether or not you've installed the software onto a harddisk,the program is
started by simply double clicking on the !AMXConvrt icon.After a couple of
seconds the AMXConvert icon will settle on the icon bar and the program is
ready to accept files.
Dragging a clipart file onto the icon bar icon will result in a 'save as' box
from which you drag the icon to any open filer window.The conversion process
will then start and a sprite file will be generated.
An icon bar option allow the input file to be inverted first,and,once processed
the 'last file' submenu will show you how long the last file took to process.
EXIT MESSAGES-
"One at a time please" - only single files may be dropped on the converter
"Already a sprite file" - you can't convert files of type FF9 to type FF9
"This size of clipart is not yet supported" - cutouts aren't handled yet
KNOWN PROBLEMS/FUTURE ENHANCEMENTS-
At present clipart cutouts aren't handled,as I don't know the file format!
