This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

IHELP0:The current options can also be set/read using the system variable Desktop+_Options, or set when loading the module by adding a parameter (eg RMLoad Desktop+ 2_11111). IHELP1:This option forces many applications to use solid sprites instead of the old dashed boxes, when dragging, for example, from save boxes. IHELP2:This option makes the filer use solid sprite drags, when dragging file icons from directory viewers. IHELP3:This option makes all solid sprite drags use semi-transparent sprites, so you can see what is underneath the sprite as you drag it. IHELP4:Choosing this option will make the filer use antialiased text in directory viewers, instead of the system font. IHELP5:This option allows you to replace some directory/file icons, with sprites of your own choosing - see the !help file for more details. IHELP6:Click here to Kill/Load the Desktop+ module. IHELP7:Click here to save the current options, for when you next run !Desktop+. IHELP8:Click here to quit Desktop+. HELP:For info on the 5 options.
