This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

The "fsck suite" (the Software) is Copyright (C) Sergio Monesi 1994, 1995
(the Author) and may not be used or copied except as in accord with the terms
and conditions below.
You may NOT Make the Software available to any third party EXCEPT with these
terms and conditions imposed on said party.
You MUST make sure the Software is distributed whole, intact and unmodified,
including all the files in the original distribution.
If you use the Software regularly or if it fixes your disc then you MUST
register the Software (see below). You may NOT copy (except for personal
use) the Software if it has been registered, and you may NOT give to any
third party any registration keys you have been issued with.
You may NOT sell, hire or include the Software in a package which is sold or
hired, modify, translate, disassemble, decompile, reverse engineer, or create
derivative works based upon the Software, include whole or part of the
Software into other works or use the Software in commercial services.
The Software is supplied "as is", the Author make no warranty, express or
implied, as to the merchantability or its fitness for any particular purpose.
It may or may not perform in accordance with the documentation or your
expectations.
In no circumstances will the Author be liable for any damage, loss of data,
profits, goodwill or for any indirect or consequential loss arising out of
the use of the Software, or inability to use the Software, even if the

Registering
-----------
To register you simply have to send the Author a registration fee (in the
form of bank notes) of not less than 5 pounds, 15.000 lire, 20 marks, 10 US
dollars, 50 francs, 25 Nlg or equivalent. If you want you can include a disc
and, say, 2 pounds for mail costs, and you will be sent the latest version of
the Software along with some other PD programs.
In return you will be given a registration key in the form of a user name,
features code and a 10 digit user code.
To register your Software you have to use the fsckregist program. See
"regist_hlp" for more informations about how to use it.
If you want to unregister the Software (before you give it to a friend maybe)
you still have to use fsckregist entering a null user code.
Registered versions of the Software may have additional features that are not
supplied with the unregistered version. See the documentation of every single
program for more informations.
Registration keys will also work with future versions of the Software unless
the Author decide otherwise.
A small note
------------
If you now are using an improved version of fsck, is especially because there
is someone who encouraged me to continue its development by sending me a
registration fee. I freely distribute this new version instead of sending it
only to registered users because this is the spirit of ShareWare: I hope I
will not regret of this choice!
