Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

| > UserBits.Version2 | Information about ALL NEW !PlayerMod VERSION II !! ---------------------------------------------------------- !PlayerMod was originally released as v1.00 in October 1990, and since then has gone through quite a number of upgrades and bugfixes [1.10, 1.11, 1.12....], the current Public Domain release is v1.30 (16-Jul-91), and the authors have decided that this will be the LAST PD release of this product. A lot of work has gone into the development of !PlayerMod and this is shown by its status as the most popular Archie SoundTracker player system, with over 2000 users world- wide ! To pay for further development work (including a full desktop editor/play system due for release in mid 1992), the authors have decided that ALL future versions of !PlayerMod will be available by registration directly from Nick Smith ONLY, and may NOT be distributed to anyone other than the original purchaser. The initial registration-only version of !PlayerMod will be v2.00, and we hope that this will be ready for release on 1ST JANUARY 1992. Below is the details of how much, and where you all send your money, but first this...... Planned upgrades to PlayerMod ----------------------------- While particular features cannot be guaranteed in the first registration-only release 2.00, most of the below will be implemented in 2.00, and all the below features will be eventually added in future releases. ** 1-8 Channel playing of SoundTracker (15 & 31 inst) and Tracker format tunes in the Desktop WITHOUT CONVERSION ** Usage of latest 'TrackerModule' player v4.05 by Matthew Farrrow, with lots of new commands and SWI calls.
