This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

To play 'Guardians' double click it's icon.
Press <space> to play.
The control keys are:-
Z for Left, X for right, / for down, ' for up, and M for map.

You must guide the player character around the screen collecting the
shields.
When all the shields with a particular pattern have been collected,
similarly patterned gates will disappear.
You must also collect all the keys.
When all the above are collected head for the exit to complete the screen.
Hazards include 'skull and crossbone' characters which drain your energy.
Collecting the three bones that make up a 'S&C' stops this effect.
There are monsters to avoid. They are pretty stupid.
Certain doors are opened by pushing your way through them. This drains your
energy.
Eat food to replenish your energy.
The instructions shown in a scroll-text on the title screen are worth
reading, as they display the various characters referred to above.
This demonstration version contains 1, fairly easy, screen.
