This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.

Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

[Apologies to anyone left off this list - the response I have had from users
has been amazing. Thanks to anyone and everyone involved in this interminable
project !]

* Simon Burrows for supplying me with the Extend Virus module (and clearly
  marked as so, unlike certain other contacts I have :-) ). He also supplied
  me a couple of virus killers written by other people to mull over.

* Philip Colmer for spotting some lax code in V1.10 and making some useful
  improvement suggestions. Fil also substantially reworked V2.00 to produce
  V2.10/2.11 (not generally released) - please see the "History" file for
  further details.

* Hugo Fiennes for the ArchieVirus "Hypothermic" innoculator (but I could have
  worked it out for myself :-) ).

* Alan Glover for supplying me with the CeBit Virus module and an annotated
  disassembly of it too. He also passed Hypothermic, ArchieVirus and both
  strains of the Icon virus onto me.

* Pop Mobility Freak (Ian Ashley) for spotting the (now fixed) error in V1.10
  concerned with disabling the current selected filing system.

* Tor Houghton for noting that SCSI drives aren't recognised - just in the
  nick of time before I posted V1.20 :-) This prompted me to fix the missing
  RamFS parse too...

* Steve Turnbull for pointing out that most "unknown" FSs have a lower case
  filing system name, but an upper case SWI command set. I enhanced this by
  leaving the lowercase check in too and also checking for uppercase + "FS"
  (e.g. scsi -> SCSIFS).

* Graham Allan for pointing out that if the V1.20 VKiller dialogue box is moved
  and then closed/re-opened, it re-appears back in its original position. He
  also suggested that the buttons in the dialogue box should follow Acorn's
  guidelines more closely.

* Douglas Potter for noticing that the "netprint" module was missing from the
  'uninfectable' filing system modules. His other fixes had already been
  implemented before he wrote to me :-)

* Gordon Sinclair, for a copy of the Vigay Virus BASIC program and its
  associated !Boot file. Also thanks to William Davis, who also informed me
  of the Vigay Virus.

* Martin Avison for supplying the much-needed FNgettaskhand(taskname$) routine
  (not sure about its stability though on anything other than RISC OS 2.00 !).

* Stuart Tyrell for supplying me with the Icon virus (plus an early version of
  !KillVirus...).
