This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

*INDEX This program, which best resides in the library directory on a network (use *LIBFS if applicable), is started with the command: *INDEX The following keys can be used: RETURN: select file or directory. If it is a file, it is executed (*RUN, CHAINed or *EXECed according to file attributes). If a directory is selected, it is *DIRed, and the !Boot file is executed if it exists. SPACE: to perform a *DIR, and then execute !Boot file, if one exists. Cursor Keys: to change the highlited option, if you press Up on the top line or Down on the bottom line, the screen will scroll. ?: This *PRINTs (without using the *PRINT command for compatability) the file $.Library.!Help.File.<name of highlited file>, if it exists. Create files using Wordwise or Edit in this directory, if you require. This program is of exeptional use on a Econet Network.
