This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

This application compiles InfoCom games
on the desktop: Just drag games files to
the icon on the icon bar, and toggle the
switches to show what information should
be produced by the compiler.
Only the simplest options are provided -
more sophisticated users may prefer to
work off the desktop.
The extra parameters icon allows for the
addition of the parameters suggested by the
error messages if any default settings are
too small for your game.
The save icon should be dragged to the
required location of the saved game, or
the name can be typed into the writeable icon.
You are prevented from overwriting the source
file!!
The game is then compiled, and output is
displayed in a task window - by default,
the compilation progress is shown (-x option).
