This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

Please read before loading the Shoe.
******** MISSIMG POLYGONS ON THE SHOE *****
The Shoe model originated as a VRML file
of over 300kb in size. Far too big to put on this
disc, even compressed.
The file has been reduced (uncompressed) to just 20%
of its original size by replacing all the large
floating point numbers with integer.
The benefit is that it fits on the disc with room
for other models. The downside is that the model
is far less accurate resulting in some missing polygons.
The 'Double sided' option and or 'Z Buffer' will
help to improve the image but at a significant
cost in processor power.
But we still thought it worth including the model!
The complete file which is much quicker and smoother
can be found on our www site.
