This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

This is a demo version of ProFiler ---------------------------------- Q: What is ProFiler? A: ProFiler is a replacement Filer for the desktop, that contains all the functionality of the ROM-Filer and more. Q: What's wrong with the demo version? A: Making a demo version brought up the problem of finding out what features to disable. I didn't solve this problem, as I think all of the features are more or less equally important for purposes of evaluating the program. So after discussing this with other users, we agreed on the following approach: The demo contains all of the functionality of the full ProFiler. HOWEVER, if you use this filer for a prolonged period of time, you will find that your RMA grows steadily until full. At which point the filer (and many other things) will be unusable. This allows you to try it out as much as you like, but constant use is not feasible. To make this work, the demo version also uses about 8 times as much RMA as the real version, otherwise the above would have little effect. Q: How do I get the full version?
