CONTENTS Unusual instruments Organ See manual for: doubling instruments; Harp See also Instruments, Special scores UNUSUAL INSTRUMENTS Although Sibelius's Instruments menu is fairly comprehensive, you may occasionally need to create a new instrument. This is done by creating a similar predefined instrument and changing the name. The instrument you base the new one on should: � be from the same orchestral section, � have the same transposition. You will probably want to switch off Use standard order first (see Instruments). ORGAN Organ pedals are chosen as a separate instru- ment from the manuals, so that they are not all braced together. The manuals are 'Keyboard/strings�Organ: manuals'; the pedals are 'Ped.: Organ pedals'. $
