This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

Purpose : Cheats Pad file converter
=======
Description :
===========
Pad>Trick is a program that converts your old 'CHEATPAD' files
into the new 'TRICKSTER' format.
Loading
-------
To load the program double click the !Pad>Trick icon in the
normal way. The !Trickster icon should then appear on the icon
bar.
Icon Bar
--------
The menu from the icon bar and all of the windows provides the
following functions:

If the select or adjust button on the mouse is pressed while
the pointer is over the !Pad>Trick icon then the title window
is displayed.
Title Window
------------
There is an icon at the bottom of the title page which opens
the main window and close the title window.
Main Window
-----------
To convert a file you have to drag your old format 'CHEATDATA'
file onto the resembling icon. This will cause all the
information to be placed into the boxes, it will also un-shade
the save icon.
Saving
------
To save a file drag firstly click on the save icon. This will
open the save window. To save the file you can either drag the
'Tricks' icon onto a filer window, or you can just click on
the 'Ok' button.
Warning : Make sure that you don't overwrite the old 'CHEATS'
file.
