Dear Gus,
On this disc I have made up several short programs you might like to
use for title pages.. They are all in basic and are adapte d or stolen and
corrupted but I hope they will not infringe any copyrights!!!!
I have spent a lot of time adjusting this line or that line, as I am
in no way any good at programming. Its been a lot of fun but I wouldn't
like to try anything more complicated than playing about with other
peoples programs
If you *CAT the disc, you will see they are EUG1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and also
one called "WORM"... It was spotting this little ditty th at give me the
idea for the first adaptation... (EUG1) EUG2 is a colour version of EUG1,
you will have to insert program lines for "space bar for menu" and line
190 will have to be removed .. otherwise it will run for ever and ever....
EUG3 is a bit of my own programing, that I think I must have done
some time ago when I was at Oxford (town) not the univ...! You will
have to put in the issue number in the all the programs.....
EUG4 this program is a "rip-off" from that wonderful series of
magazines "INPUT" but the flashing colours are my own'input'
EUG5 was adapted from 'learning to use Electron'(Bought from a BOOT
SALE)
EUG6 as EUG5 but with ex-tras.
EUG7 is a mixup of two short programs from 'Learning to use the
Electron'
Hope you will find them useful.
I have 5D1 on my label, does this mean I am about due to pay you some
more groats and sheckles!!!!
Talking of boot sales, Last week I bought a basic ELK for #2.00 is this a
record? Yes, it does work, all this work was done on it.. ... Of course, I
fixed my plus one etc to the back!!!
I also recently bought a BBC, Cumana Double side Disc drive 40/80,14"
colour monitor and 10 discs full of games all in perfect working order
for #30.00 (I hadn't the heart to haggle!!!
I'm in the middle of re-flooring the Narrowboat, and also fitting a
solid fuel stove, which involves a lot of internal changes . During the
cold spell over christmas, the local agricultural college recorded a
temperature of MINUS 15 degs C. and we had some i cing problems causing
burst pipe joints and damage to the water pump. The pump is required to
pressurise the system, and works on a micro switch operated by internal
diaphragm. When the water in the pump froze, it damaged the pump, causing
it to keep pumping desp ite the taps being turned off. A new pump is
well over the #60.00 mark, so I had a go at fixing it! Saved myself the
cost of the new pump by replacing a spring and using some Araldite Glue!
Took me two whole days; taking it to bits and back together again!!!!
Ah well, thats life .
