This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

CONTENTS Frequency Style First bar number See manual for: conventions for numbering 2nd- time bars (at the end of repeated sections) FREQUENCY On the House style�Bar numbers menu you can choose bars to be automatically numbered every 5 bars, every 10, at the start of each system, or not at all. STYLE On the same menu you can choose the numbers to be size 12, size 12 (italic), size 10 or size 10 in a box. FIRST BAR NUMBER You can change this for transcribing excerpts from a score. Scores which have bar numbers at the start of each system usually don't have 1 written above bar number 1. To adopt this convention, choose House style�Bar numbers�Omit number 1. If your score starts with an upbeat bar which you don't want to be numbered 1, you should set the first bar number to 0. (The number 0 won't be drawn above the bar.) $
