This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.

* MS-DOS (720 Kbytes, version 3.30)
* DOS-II
Formatting a disk in any of the formats will take up to 65 seconds. Verifying
the disk takes up 32 seconds.
For comparison: the format on the MS-DOS emulator takes up to 194 seconds...
DOS-II is a joint venture of D.H.D. and L.I.C. and was designed mainly to be
able to exchange data between Archimedes and Sinclair computers.
The disk is formatted as 10 sectors of 512 bytes each per track, numbered
1 through 10, with a formatted capacity of 795 Kbytes.
The system includes subdirectories (up to 32) which do NOT take up extra
disk space. For more information on this disk system, contact either D.H.D.
of L.I.C.
As mentioned in the program itself, I am always interested in more often
used formats for this program. All I need is disk formatted in the format
you want...
The author will take no responsability whatsoever for any damage resulting
from loss of data from disks formatted with this program. All formatting is
done at own risk.
