ELECTRON SECOND PROCESSOR (E2P) - Literally a second 6502 processor on a
cartridge with its own 64k RAM. Working at up to 3 times the speed of the
processor in the Electron and making more memory available (44k for BASIC
and 'HI' languages). Operation is automatic and transparent to the user
once the operating software (available on tape, disc or ROM) has been
loaded in. Price `69.
RS423 INTERFACE - Serial interface to connect your Electron to another
computer or a Modem for program or data transfer. The interface is fully
programmable and includes a socket for a spare ROM or RAM. Price `34
MODE 7 SIMULATOR ROM - Simulates a Mode 7 display, as seen on the BBC
computer, Prestel and Teletext. It requires a ROM socket to fit into.
Includes Prestel terminal software, so can be combined with our RS423
interface (above) and a Modem to connect to Prestel over the telephone
line. If used in combination with any other software a Master RAM Board
would also be necessary. ROM Price `15
MODE 7 Mk 2 UNIT - The hardware equivalent of the above item, giving
faster screen updating and 'nicer' characters. Otherwise exactly the
same remarks apply. This item fits inside the Electron and requires
soldering expertise if you build or fit it yourself. 3 price options:

ROMPLUS-144 ROM CARTRIDGE - Room for up to 144k of ROM and RAM on one
cartridge. Contains 8 sockets to hold 7 ROMs plus a 32k RAM. If a RAM is
fitted the on-board software can use it as a printer buffer or as a RAM
disk. Price `39 plus `20 for a 32k RAM.
