This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.

TECHNODREAM - Acorn Computing Demo Version

One or two players can pilot the new V7 Terrastormer craft against the
alien forces. Using keyboard controls or joysticks (Acorn A3010 or RTFM), you
must destroy the aliens, whilst avoiding attack. In this demo version, only
stage 1 (of 18 stages) is present, although you can play through repeatedly
until no lives�remain: your objective is to get the highest score you can.
Although initially out-numbered and out-gunned, you can collect extra
primary and incendiary weapons and shields as you progress. Tokens appear as
you destroy the aliens - a pink token gives an extra primary weapon (missile
launcher, rear shot, laser beam or satellite gun), a blue token an extra
shield (ram or shield orb), a blue mine token gives a mine incendiary weapon.
Other tokens give extra speed (S), firing ability to the ram (W), more rapid
incendiary weapon recharge (G), force field shielding (F) or more energy (E).
This demo version contains only the first of 18 increasingly fiendish
stages. The complete version has 6 different scenarios, including the barren
mountain ranges of Kirius and the forests and skyscraper cities of the
Colonised Worlds. It also has additional incendiary weapons (8-way fireballs
and flame thrower) and other tokens, and includes 6 pieces of stereo music.
