Manual/Page02
This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

Draw TechWriter @ , Homerton.Medium Trinity.Medium H g ; + - - g 1. What is Larger? g 2 ; Larger is a multi-tasking desktop utility for the Acorn Archimedes/A3000/A4000/ g 2 ; A5000 range of computers. It offers virtual desktop facilities, along with a sticky g 2 ; k backdrop filing system, an application manager, and a configurable menu tree. Its x g 2 ; J prime purpose is to make the RISC OS desktop even easier to use. g ; 4 This manual is divided up into several parts, each of which deals with one aspect of g ; 4 Largers capabilities. As much as possible these parts have been made self contained, g ; 4 so you can use some of Largers facilities without needing to understand all of them. g ; The one exception to this is the chapter on the Configuration Window. The changes g ; p you make in this window affect all the different aspects of Largers behaviour, so rather g ; O than reading this chapter all the way through, it is probably worth just dipping into it l g ; - whenever you are referred there from another chapter. g w ; # Finally, rather than have a separate tutorial section tucked away at the back of the g w ; # manual, throughout the text various sections are marked with vertical sidebars (like g w ; # this one). These sections take you gently through the actions being described in the l g w ; # text, and should help you understand what is going on. D g w ; @ @ @ @ <
