This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

�$.1wp.hex.HP-DeskJet� This is the source for a First Word Plus
printer driver for the HP DeskJet. It should be put in the
1wp.hex directory on the Utilities disc.
�$.1wp.cfg.HP-DeskJet� This is the compiled driver for the HP
DeskJet for First Word Plus. It should be put in the
1wp.cfg directory on the working disc. It can be copied
from there to the Utilities.1wp directory with the name of
1wp_Print and will then be the default printer driver on
start-up.
The driver handles all the text facilities except for
italics, which is not available on the basic DeskJet
printer.
However the driver will not do graphics dumps. The reason
is that the HP instructions in no way resemble those for an
EPSON printer and First Word Plus's graphics facilities,
which are based on the printer logic of Epsons, cannot be
bent suitably ... (or at least I have not found a way of
doing so).�
