Instructions (Hit Shift to continue or any other key to start game) This Level of Cyborg has been specially written for the Acorn Computing MegaDisk and is not available elsewhere. Due to space restrictions on the MegaDisk it is not as large as the levels in the full version which includes 4 other much larger arcade levels & 3 adventure stages compressed onto three discs. This demo does not contain any adventure stages The demo runs on all Acorn 32 bit machines including those with only 1 Megabyte. The full version requires 2 Megabytes or more. Move the sight as far as possible to the left or right to scroll the screen. As you play you may be able to pick up other weapons. To fire any weapon make sure it is selected (see later) and click SELECT. To select a weapon click the MENU button until the right-hand indicator lights up beside the weapon's icon in the status panel at the top left of the screen. A weapon is available if the left-hand light beside it is lit. If you look at the weapon status panel at the moment you should see that the only weapon available is the laser which is, naturally, the selected weapon. To activate your tractor beam to pick up objects and operate switches etc. click the ADJUST button and the sight will change. Aim at the object and click SELECT. Click ADJUST again to turn the tractor beam off. The red bar at the top of the screen is your energy level. Your energy is used by firing your weapons and by being hit by enemy fire. The energy level can be restored by picking up energy pods. The blue bar shows the amount of air remaining in your CyberSuit. If the air supply runs out you'll die. Some of the creatures you will encounter are classed as FGA's - Friendly Green Aliens! You should avoid shooting these as this will incur a penalty in the form of lost credits and worse! The aim of this demo level is to escape from the dungeon by collecting FOUR Xylenium crystals. As each one is collected a crystal indicator above the door at the far right side of the level will light up. When all four are lit click the switch beside the door and it will open and allow you to escape... .... GOOD LUCK ....
