This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

Acorn User Disc Menu May 1995 (Issue 155) This menu application is a convenient way to use your Acorn User disc. All of the material on the disc is listed in the menu above. The menu windows can be brought up at any time by clicking on the AU disc icon on the icon bar. To see the archive containing a particular resource or application, in order to use it, simply click on the relevant View option. If you want advice on any of the listed items, click on Help. Advice is shown in the information window below and text can be scrolled using the vertical bar on the right. The information window can be resized as required. Quit the menu by clicking Menu over the disc icon, and choosing the Quit entry. Note that a number of items on the magazine disc require RISC OS 3 to work. We strongly advise that you upgrade to RISC OS 3 if you have not already done so. The contents of this disc have been compressed using ArcFS 2 from VTi. Decompression is automatic whenever any of the applications are run. This disc was compiled by Acorn User magazine, and is distributed with the magazine. It was checked for viruses using Pineapple Software's Killer version 1.900. The latest Killer software can be obtained from Pineapple Software, tel: 0181-599 1476.
