Help/NoADFS
This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

** NOADFS ** The NOADFS program allows you to make ADFS temporarily "invisible", thus freeing the memory space it uses. Once this is done, none of the ADFS commands are accessible. You will also lose any BASIC program you may have in memory. It should not be necessary to run the program if you are using a second proc- essor as ADFS only occupies I/O proces- or workspace, but if you do, you must press the BREAK key afterwards. To restore ADFS, you must either turn the Electron off and back on, or type *FX200,2 followed by CTRL BREAK
