This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

Editing window
Overview window
EDITING WINDOW
To make editing very fast:
� the editing window occupies the whole screen
in a specially fast screen mode
� editing is done at a fixed zoom factor
� changing default text styles doesn't change
them in the editing window (though they
change on the overview window)
� rare characters are displayed as a box
� keyboard braces are only drawn at approxi-
mate size.
With some monitor types you can vary the
screen mode used while editing, by clicking
Menu on the Sibelius icon on the icon bar
and choosing from the Editing mode menu.
OVERVIEW WINDOW
Select and Adjust zoom in or out. These are
preferable to using the 33%, 100%, 250% and
Fit buttons as the latter may make stave-lines
unevenly spaced due to limited screen
resolution.
To make the window redraw fairly fast, you
should set the font cache on the Task display
(chosen from the menu on the rightmost icon
on the icon bar) to at least 100K - preferably
more like 200K.
If you close the overview window, you can
bring it back by clicking Menu on the Sibelius
icon on the icon bar and choosing Show
overview.
