This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

Anglia TV Clip Art Discs The titles include: Vikings (Unit 1) Romans (Unit 1) Tudor Times (Unit 2) Britain since 1930 (Unit 4) World War II (Unit 4) Greeks (Unit 5) Aztecs (Unit 6) Egyptians (Supp. Unit) Don't buy these discs if you think you're going to get a selection of high quality colour artwork - you'll probably be disappointed. The quality of the black and white Draw files, it must be said, are variable but, and this is an important point, most are more than adequate for the purpose, although perhaps a little expensive when compared with SEMERC's Just Pictures series. The pictures are produced in 256 shades of grey, and look really good when printed on a high resolution laser printer. The 20+ Draw files on each disc make up a good cross-section of material for each topic. Included on each disc are scenes, people and artefacts of the day. Pupils can select one or more of these pictures and drop them into a piece of DTP work providing a relevant graphic to illustrate their story.
