This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

What it does:
WimpFont allows you to choose the outline font to use as the desktop font on
computer with RISC OS 3.50 or later - �so what, !Configure does that...� I
hear you cry, well this also lets you set the size and width of the font to
use, and you can view it before you set the choice - !Configure doesn�t do
any of that:)
Installation:
By installing it you agree to the terms in the �Notice:� section.
Drag the !WimpFont directory to a suitable place on your Hard Disc. Next
merge the supplied system into your existing !System (or double click on
the MergeSys file).
That�s it!
How to use it:
By using it you agree to the terms in the �Notice:� section.
Double-click on it, the icon will pop onto the iconbar. Click on the iconbar
up comes a font selector window (100% as per the style guide), choose the
weight, height, aspect ration etc (click on try to see what it�ll look like)
clicking on Alter will save the choice, and implement it.
That�s it!
If you need extra help use Acorn�s !Help, or another similar interactive help
program, and point at the bits you are unsure about.
