CF4 2LX 1st March, 1997 (Dydd Dewi Sant) Tel: 01222 566413 WANTED: POWER SUPPLY FOR MASTER 128 TO BUY OR EXCHANGE FOR OTHER ELK/BBC GOODIES. PLEASE RING 01222 566413. The Power Supply having been blown up in a master that I had set up for my brother-in-law to type in monthly meeting minutes using VIEW. The outcome being that the 5.25" disc he had in the drive at the time was also wiped, which means he has lost the last two years' records. I have known data to be corrupted by various means, but I have never experienced a disc being wiped as if it was not formatted. The usual disc fault 18 comes up when the drive is accessed and using ADT's *DEX reveals all sectors on track 0 are filled with 00's. What the devil he did and how all this has come about I have no idea, so has anyone out there any ideas. Cheers.
