DarkHorse screensaver is Copyright KOOL 1994. It is classed as shareware,
which means that if you use it, you need register yourself as a user with
us.
This unregistered version of DarkHorse will only allow limited use of
any additional savers you may install. For full usage, you must register.
Read the file 'Register' found in directory 'Docs' for registration and
it's benifits.
Only 'unregistered' versions on DarkHorse may be distributed, it should
not be charged for, apart for a minimal fee to pay for media / postage
and is copied completely with all files as supplied and unchanged
including this one. To check if DarkHorse is 'unregistered' look at the
'info' box from the DarkHorse icon bar menu. The field for 'Owner' should
be marked 'unregistered'.
No part of the application may be extracted for external use.
The author does not and cannot take responsibilty for any data loss in

DarkHorse

DarkHorse is a fully multitasking programmable screensaver for the Acorn
Archimedes and compatible computers. It's main features are :
. totally multitasking, allowing other apps to run while blanking.
. uses much less memory than other fancy screen savers. (only 32k app.)
. does NOT require external modules eg Clib,FPE,Interface etc..
. all savers are Arm coded.
. provides facility to pass arguments to savers.
. online help on each saver.
. password facility to protect your machine.
. keyboard shortcuts.
. easy to select required saver.
. sleep/no sleep corners.
. ability to disable saver.
. handles all screen modes/palettes/border/colours properly.
. and ofcourse protects your monitor.
For more information on how to use DarkHorse, look inside the 'Docs'
directory within the !DarkHorse directory. Hold down 'SHIFT' and double-
click on the !DarkHorse application to open it's directory. Look inside
directory 'Docs' for the following files :
. FileFormat - Explains the DarkHorse screensaver fileformat, and how to
write your own screensavers to work with DarkHorse. I may
well supply users fully registered versions of DarkHorse
if they supply me with some good screensavers.
. Future - Things I could add or would like to add. Plus ideas from
registered users.

. Manual - A guide to using DarkHorse. Requirements/Functions/Tips
