This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

************************************************************************** A. Richardson, P.O. Box 5471, Wellesley Street, Auckland, New Zealand 1036 ************************************************************************** 30 June 1997 VF3/eug-ed1 Dear 'Gus, Thanks for another interesting EUG on disc, No. 32. I now have my correct e-mail address in case anyone wants to send digital info by electronic communication. It is "alanr@amiga.gen.nz". Can anyone help with my printing problems, specifically relating to the EUG? When I select P from the main menu (for printing all) I got four widely spaced lines of nonsense and the printer stopped. I tried more than once. MRB on and MRB off. I then tried to print my letter with 'Gus' reply with a similar problem; I got one line (the asterisks) when I asked for perforation skip. It all printed out when I said no skip. I had wanted to print it out so that I could make a sensible response. Thanks to whoever it was for the Z88 address. No luck, however. I wrote to Mr Woodward at the same address in Nov 1995 and did not receive a reply. Sunday looks interesting and I've asked for a copy. I like my letter heading - it just fits - like Tony Boarer's. Downunder, Samcor has taken over Acorn's N.Z. distribution with Acorn retaining a support presence and another group, Edit, looking after software. I've just started typing in magazine extracts (references) and find there is quite a lot of work involved. Has anyone else had a go at this. The idea is to be able to find Electron articles, programmes, books, etc. without wasting too much time. If I'm impressed with the completed file I'll send it in. Best wishes to all. Alan Richardson ************************************************************************** I REALLY MUST HAVE A LOOK AT THE PRINTING ROUTINES. SORRY FOR ALL THE PROBLEMS YOU HAVE HAD FOR AS LONG AS I CAN REMEMBER.
