This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

Lottery Check, a quick quide.
-----------------------------
���This program is the latest version of a program I have been working on that checks lottery tickets for winning lines. To get the program running simply double click on the Lottery Check icon on the filer window. If enough memory is available the welcome banner will appear and Lottery Check's icon will appear on the left hand side of the icon bar. Clicking on this icon will then bring up Lottery Checks main menu.
Select Numbers
--------------
This is the first icon on the main menu and will open a window where your lottery numbers should be entered. The arrows allow you to move between tickets. Lottery Check allows three tickets of numbers to be entered.
Check Tickets
-------------
This opens up the window where winning numbers can be entered. After entering the last number (the bonus number) the user is informed how well they have done.
View Lines
----------
After the tickets have been checked clicking on this shows how well the user has done. The number in brackets shows the number of winning lines. Winning lines are indicated by an asterisk (*) at the side of the winning line(s).
Save Numbers
------------
Clicking on this brings up a window which allows tickets to be saved.
Clear Numbers
-------------
This clears all numbers from the memory of Lottery Check. The entered number window now appears blank.
To load a saved file the file can either be double clicked on or dragged to a Lottery Check window or the icon on the icon bar. Lottery Check makes use of the standard Acorn fonts (Homerton, Trinity etc.)
IMPORTANT : Although various checks have been performed on Lottery Check and no errors have been found, neither Archimedes World nor myself, Ben Roles, can be held responsible for any incorrect check of tickets by Lottery Check.
