Sat Read Version 1.0 By Mike Cook M.cook@mmu.ac.uk �Musbury Consultants This allows you to read APT format Sattelitte images. You require an AM radio reciever in the 137 MHz band and the hardware described in the December 1997 issue of Acorn User. Instructions:- Click on the icon to get the Control Panel. Select North or south bound pass (if this is wrong it can be corrected for later) Select Preview if you have a Strong Arm processor, a slower processor might cause some pixels to be missed off a line. Set the length of pass. Click GO when the sattlelitte is heard. Note once the GO has been pressed the application will calculate the ammount of data to read in and can't be stopped untill that ammount is read. If not data source is connected the only way to retreive the situation is with an Alt Break. After the pass there will be a fullsize view of the sprite, use menu "Flip" if you got the North / South wrong. Save as a sprite, use paint to crop the pictures, use ChangeFSI on Equlise to improve the image.
