Dear 'Gus,
I hope you received the lastletter I wrote, and from your
'noresponse' choice I assume you willbe publishing the
two gamessubmitted last time. I do,however, need to
explain somethingabout Block Blitz. What hadescaped
notice was that thecopyright lines were missing frommy
version of the program(unexplainably), and I had not
entered it, just obtained it. Iknew that Elbug had
published it(and you have permission topublish their
programs) and forthat reason I placed copyright tothem.
However, I now know thatBeeBug also published it, and
there is a possibility it wastheir version. However,
think ofthis: if Beebug had published it,would they have
changed it for theElectron, when the original workswell?
If it were BeeBug's, thenan identical version would have
been in Elbug. However, withdrawit if you will, but
please publishAlphabet Chaser.
The main reason for writingthough, is that I have written
autility for ADFS users whichshould prevent them from
ovrwriting files accidently. Itprompts them whether they
wish tocontinue, if a file exists. Ihave done a write-up
also, underSAFEinfo1. The main program isSAFE, and
should be run by typing'*SAFE'. It locates itself in
Pages 9 and 10 of the memory. Ihave also included the
source code(SAFEsource), which you may wishto publish.
If DFS users have thesame problem, I think I know howto
upgrade it to include them. Tell me what you think.
In addition, I have also includeda program called
TYPEWRITER. Justtype *TYPEWRITER and see whathappens.
Catalogue your disk orsomething. I don't think this is
suitable for publication!
