This website contains an archive of files for the Acorn Electron, BBC Micro, Acorn Archimedes, Commodore 16 and Commodore 64 computers, which Dominic Ford has rescued from his private collection of floppy disks and cassettes.
Some of these files were originally commercial releases in the 1980s and 1990s, but they are now widely available online. I assume that copyright over them is no longer being asserted. If you own the copyright and would like files to be removed, please contact me.

Bio Plus: Enhanced Bio Application By Dave Lawrence and Dave Acton NOTE: Some Bio modules need to write to disc to work. As the compression method used on this disc is read-only, you should copy Bio to an unprotected disc (by simply dragging the !Bio icon) and run it there. Run this option to open up a window containing the latest version of Bio. Double-click on Bio to load it. Two icons will appear on the iconbar. From right to left, these icons are: ModInfo and SprMerge. Run Acorn's Help application to show interactive help for Bio. Quick instructions for each of these modules are as follows. ModInfo: Drag a module to the icon to load information on the module into Edit. The information includes the module name, version, date and the addresses for start, initialisation, finalisation and service calls. Any star commands and SWIs are also detailed. SprMerge: Dragging a directory to the icon will search for any sprite files inside the directory, and will merge them all into one big sprite file which can be saved away. The main Bio menu can be brought up by clicking Menu over either of the icons. The 'Process' submenu determines which of the Bio modules are displayed, and the 'Set default' entry saves the current configuration as the default. To remove just one icon, choose 'Quit', and to remove the whole Bio system, go into the 'Quit' submenu and choose 'All'.
